Mouthwashing is incredible. I wished everyone in the entire world would play it.
I went in completely blind, hadn't heard a thing about it until I saw that Twitch streamer
KUUEATER had played it. For the next three hours I was
completely engrossed.
So engrossed and wanting more, that I bought the game for myself and played it the next day. I made sure to
use earbuds, which I
never really do with video games (don't worry about it), to take in all of the sound design with it. It is
incredible. I love the art style and the low-poly models,
I love the droning, almost at times peaceful music, I love the characters, I love how grotesque the sound
design becomes especially when near Curly. The harsh lighting
of the post-crash ship. It all sets an incredible atmosphere that everything is horrifically, terribly wrong.
And it can only get worse.
I was also suprisingly charmed by Polle. I hope we get a cute plush of that little guy.
It is times like these I appreciate hyper-focused internet forums. I like to hear thoughts on things I
like, to gain another perspective, to learn something I missed or dismissed. I'm very bad with missing implied things,
so it is a lot of help, especially here.
I think I will keep thinking about this game for a long time, while alone in a dark room.
